This is a small interactive art project in PICO-8 that generates pixel-based bubbles and particles by reading the image from a webcam.  PICO-8’s 128-pixel size limit makes it interesting to experiment with how today’s cameras can have their images processed and scaled down.

The idea was also to add an audio react feature, but I wasn’t able to finish the code; I’ll make the .p8 file available for anyone who wants to modify it โ๏௰๏ใ ื
